Ralph Lauren, born Ralph Lifshitz in the Bronx NY on October 14, 1939, is a notable American fashion designer and business executive. He is most notable for his Polo Ralph Lauren clothing brand.

Lauren, along with many other Librarians, is also well known as a collector of classic automobiles. His cars have won in shows at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance multiple times. His collection was recently displayed at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He owns a Ferrari 250 GTO, a McLaren F1 GTR LM, and, more recently, a Bugatti Veyron among others. {Wikipedia}
